THREE MAIN POSITIONINGS OF ALPHA SECONDARY SCHOOL

Ready for international integration
  • Develop skills of cooperation, communication, creativity, and problem-solving through learning projects.
  • Cultivate self-study skills through group learning activities, learning projects, and self-study exercises on MegaSchool.

Emphasize health care activities for students
  • Social Emotional Education (SEL) is taught from grade 6 to grade 9 to lay the foundation for students to continue to explore themselves, build relationships and initially know how to make decisions responsibly.
  • Students with psychological problems that need intervention, help are consulted and supported 1:1 by school psychologists.

Emphasize character development

  • The Alpha Eagle course for all new students helps them appreciate themselves, be grateful to their parents, and overcome personal barriers. - Students are trained in values by month, each month the school chooses a value to remind the students.
  • Values are always reinforced by teachers in every school activity.
  • There is always regular connection between the school and the family:

+ 60 days of accompanying, sending daily reports to 6th grade students and new students.

+ Each student is connected by an advisor at least once a month. Each week, the advisor sets a goal of having 5 deep care cases.

+ Math, Literature, English teachers connect at least twice a semester with parents.

ACTIVE LEARNING - DIVERSE EXPERIENCES - READY FOR INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION

The middle school program is built on the basis of continuing and developing the foundational knowledge and skills from Primary school, while also having deeper differentiation to create opportunities for students to explore and mature further.

  • The education program is specialized towards the competencies and interests of each student, especially through group-based learning in three subjects: Math, Literature, and English.
  • International English Standard: Aim to develop communication skills, critical thinking, and foundational academic skills to prepare students for the next important levels of study.
  • English Program:Continues to develop in parallel with the Scholar System oriented according to the Cambridge standard and the Liberal System oriented according to the American standard, ensuring continuity in the academic program from Primary school.
  • Continue to develop specialized subjects to form and develop values, skills for students, create diverse experiential opportunities to DEVELOP personal interests, balance physical and intellectual.
